Tim Byrne from Belair Road Auto Electrical in Adelaide is the South Australia and Northern Territory REDNetwork representative for the REDNetwork Advisory Council. The council has been set up to provide members a local contact to share identified opportunities as well as needs in their business. Members of the council will meet throughout the year to discuss these amongst other REDNetwork related business.
I have been in business for the last 30 years and our team is currently made of three auto electricians, three mechanics, myself and my wife Lynette who helps to run the business. We provide vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, auto electrical diagnostics and installations.
I joined the REDNetwork because i’ve had a close relationship with REDARC over my time working in the industry and I was keen to align my business with a quality brand. As an auto electrician in Australia we all, should support Australian Manufacturing.
Being part of the Advisory Council will mean I can help to maintain the work carried out by a quality network to install a quality product. The Advisory Council will be a great environment to discuss issues and share fixes and resolutions thus maintaining quality trained repairers and a quality installation service across Australia.
We all love a camping trip, whether it’s getting away for the weekend with the family or testing your truck out on some tough 4WD tracks. But sometimes a quick camping trip is not enough, and to truly get off grid you're going to need a reliable 12V setup.
Overlanding across lengthy stretches of road can be a difficult task due to the time, few places to stop off at and the minimal amounts of cars and people. For a safer journey, keep your mind active and your power running with these tips from REDARC.
For the third consecutive year, we were honoured to win the Manufacturing & Advanced Materials Award. This recognition solidifies our position as a leader in Australian manufacturing and innovation, reflecting our relentless pursuit of excellence in advanced materials and cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
The name of REDARC’s dual battery charger is an acronym for “Battery Charger from Direct Current” input (BCDC). The BCDC chargers keep the battery charged using DC power while the vehicle runs or through solar, fully charging the second battery.
