Travelling over the holidays brings sunshine, good vibes, and unforgettable adventure but it can also bring crowded campgrounds, limited facilities and competition for powered sites. When campsites fill up, shared outlets can be overused and generators can leave you with angry neighbors. This is where having a dual battery system on-board becomes a game changer, allowing you to have a reliable, self-contained power system that doesn’t rely on powered campsites.
When it comes to choosing the right dual battery system for you, REDWorks pre-wired dual battery systems take the complexity out of setting up a mobile power system. Whether you’re relaxing at a local campground or trying to escape to somewhere unknown, REDWorks lets you stay powered, comfortable and in control.
WHY CAMPSITE CROWDING MAKES POWER MANAGEMENT HARDER
During busy holiday periods and the warm summer months, campsites can quickly fil up. This can often result in shared power outlets getting overloaded and campers needing to rely more heavily on fridges, fans, and pumps that are running harder in the heat. Even the best planned trips can be derailed power is unreliable.
A simple solution to this is to have a fully independent power system. Choosing a REDWorks panel gives you a mobile power system that works anywhere, meaning you’re less reliant on premium powered sites and have more control over your power.

WHAT IS REDWORKS?
Instead of piecing together chargers, monitors, fuses and wiring, REDWorks pre-wired power panels are a ready-to-go dual battery system, taking the guesswork out of 12V power.
Each REDWorks panel comes pre-wired with
- A DC to DC battery charger
- MPPT solar regulator
- Real-time battery monitoring
- Fusing
- Smart control (Pioneer only)
Not only does it take the guesswork out of choosing the right components, REDWorks makes installing your dual battery system simple. It’s as easy as mount, plug and power.
- Mount: 4 bolts are you’re done.
- Plug: Anderson™ connectors remove the stress of wiring each individual component
- Power: Open the RedVision app and you’re good to go
This takes the stress out of running extension cords and making sure devices are running when you get to camp. Grab a drink, sit back and relax.
EMBRACE UNPOWERED SITES
Having an on-board power system that doesn’t rely on powered campground facilities means you’ve got the freedom to explore without the restrictions of needing to book a caravan park site. This can come in especially handy during busy holiday periods or long weekends when caravan parks are often booked up months in advance.
When powered campsites are full, REDWorks allows you to keep your setup running through both auxiliary power and solar. Charge your secondary battery via your alternator while you drive to camp and keep your battery topped up at camp through fixed, portable or folding solar panels.

STAY CHARGED WITH SOLAR
Once you’re setup and relaxing at camp, the last thing you want to do is drive your vehicle around to top your secondary batteries up. This is where having solar on board comes in handy. A solar power solution means you aren’t limited by the amount of power in your batteries when you arrive at camp - if the sun is out, your batteries are being topped up.
REDWorks power panels all feature simple Anderson™ inputs so connecting a solar panel is as simple as plugging it in. This means whether you have fixed panels mounted on top of a caravan or prefer a lightweight, portable solar solution, REDWorks is able to handle it.
Each REDWorks panel also includes a BCDC charger which utilises REDARC’s Green Power Priority™. This means that if you’ve got solar connected while you’re driving, the BCDC will use that power to charge your batteries before DC power from your alternator.
KEEP SPACE FREE FOR THE IMPORTANT THINGS
When travelling over summer - especially with kids and pets on-board – spare space is often had to come by and you don’t want to be wasting it on bulky power systems. REDARC kept this in mind when designing the REDWorks power panels. When the smallest panel is the size of an A4 sheet of paper, they’re easy to fit behind drawers, under seats or against an unused side panel. This means more room for all your summer camping essentials.
