We are seeking an experienced General Manager - Aftermarket Sales with a strong background in the aftermarket industry to develop and grow ANZ region growth. As a member of the REDARC Leadership Team, this role is responsible for building deep and lasting relationships with distributors and channel partners, managing and developing the Sales Team, creating and implementing aftermarket sales strategies and processes, and working cross-functionally to ensure the commercial viability of products and solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Develop and maintain the Aftermarket Sales strategy to drive accelerated growth and margin expansion in existing channels.
- Identify new sources of growth via customer feedback and market trends.
- Play a critical role in the NPD process by gathering and sharing market and functional insights, identifying new product development opportunities and injecting into the business to ensure a full pipeline of NPD projects.
- Be the Sales lead in the 'stage gate' commercialisation/approval process to ensure delivery of sustainable and profitable outcomes.
- Develop a philosophy of end user, channel and category insights to drive market planning and strategy.
- Driving 'customer is king' ethos across the business in line with company values.
- Build world class, mutually beneficial relationships with distributors and key channels that enable profitable growth for our partners.
- Develop a channel partner planning process and manage commercial agreements to agreed financial and operational KPIs.
- Manage the saes execution process, to include NPD Sales-drive launch process deliverables (target channels, target customers, sales forecasting, post-launch evaluation, etc.).
- Manage the sales planning, forecasting and activation process.
- Provide day to day team leadership and capability development.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Degree-based qualifications in business or marketing, or at least seven years' experience in a relevant business role.
- Previous experience in a commercial/sales or marketing role, with demonstrated experience growing a business through strong relationships.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high performing remote team.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and exceeding customer expectations.
