What Tow-Pro wiring kit do I need?
REDARC provide one vehicle specific wiring kit for 2018+ Ford Ranger/Everest to suit the Tow-Pro Elite Electric Brake Controller and two universal wiring kit options to support other vehicle applications.
This information is applicable to the following Tow-Pro Electric Brake Controllers:

- Tow-Pro Elite V2 (EBRH-ACCV2)
- Tow-Pro Elite V3 (EBRH-ACCV3)
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO UNIVERSAL WIRING KITS?
TPWKIT-013: Suitable for vehicles where the start battery, Tow-Pro and cables are on the same side.
TPWKIT-014: Suitable for vehicle where the start battery is on the other side of the vehicle from the rest of the installation.
The difference between the TPWKIT-013 and the TPWKIT-014 is the 014 kit comes with a longer power harness for the increased cable run to the start battery. If you are unsure, purchasing the TPWKIT-014 will give you more cable to work with in your installation.

WHAT WIRING KIT DO I USE FOR 2018+ FORD RANGER/EVEREST?
Post 2018 (MY19) Ford released Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) Technology for many of their vehicle ranges. Due to the sophisticated Trailer Modules in these model vehicles, the common connections for the brake signal to the electric brake controllers are now not viable without adverse effects on the vehicle and onboard safety systems.
REDARC has engineered a solution to overcome this issue and designed a vehicle specific Tow-Pro Wiring Kit (TPWKIT-012) to suit this application.
