In total 9 kits, directly compatible with 14 popular 4WD vehicles will provide ‘Plug and Play’ style connectivity. From March, REDARC will be releasing 5 wiring kits for 7 vehicles, with the other four to be released in the coming months.
The 7 vehicle specific wiring kits include Ford Ranger PXI, PXII and Everest, Holden Colorado, Mitsubishi Triton and Pajero, and Toyota Hilux and Fortuna.
Each vehicle specific wiring kit will ensure installation will now become quicker and more convenient which is good news for the Tow-Pro installer.
Each wiring kit comes with the complete range of hardware required to install a Tow-Pro electric brake controller and contains a vehicle specific harness with connectors that mate to the vehicles connectors, circuit breaker, mounting hardware, fasteners and detailed fitting instructions. All harnesses are manufactured to OE level standards and quality.
In addition, REDARC has released three switch inserts which allows the installer to create an OE looking remote head mount whilst still maintaining ADR21 compliance when fitted correctly. A switch insert for the Toyota Hilux & Mitsubishi Triton, Holden Colorado as well as a Universal model that is available to deliver an OE look switch blank when no spare switch blanks ones are available.

“Since launching our original Tow-Pro electric brake controller in June, 2014, Tow-Pro has become the most popular brake controller in the market. Releasing vehicle specific wiring kits as well as the Switch Insert Panels will now complement our range of Tow-Pro electric brake controllers” he said.
Due to the Active Calibration feature, and the ability to switch between two modes of braking; proportional and user-controlled, the award-winning Tow-Pro Elite V2 has been recognised with several awards since its release. This includes a Global Media Award at the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas, USA and an Innovation Award at the 2016 Caravan and Camping Industries Association of South Australia.
