REDARC have joined forces with Expedition Overland, a web series on YouTube that follows a crew of overlanders and their fitted-out vehicles through some of the most-remote places in the world.
With over 130,000 YouTube subscribers, the show features the adventures and mishaps of Clay Croft and his crew who provide personal insights into their struggles, successes and experiences. Fuelling the drive to make the adventure happen, REDARC will be supplying the team with their award-winning Tow-Pro Elite Electric Trailer Brake Controller for their upcoming South America web series.
With a dash-mounted control knob, the Tow-Pro Elite creates an OE look and feel, requiring minimal dash space and provides safe braking at your fingertips. Because of its compact design, the main unit can be installed under the vehicle dash in any orientation, away from the driver’s leg space and from knee air-bags in new vehicles.
The Tow-Pro Elite also features patented technology that offer users two types of braking modes; Proportional and User-Controlled in the one unit.

Expedition Overland grew in popularity after first venturing into overlanding back in 2011 with their North American series, and have since tackled more treacherous terrain in Alaska/Yukon, Central America, and The Mackenzie as they push themselves and their vehicles to breaking point.
Expedition Overland have attracted a highly engaged audience following the growing interest in Overlanding in North America over the years and REDARC will be looking to tap into this market with its range of high powered In-vehicle battery chargers, Tow-Pro Electric Trailer Brake Controllers, 2 1/16th (52mm) Voltage Monitoring Gauges, Charge Equalizers and DC Power Supplies.

The Dual Input In-vehicle Battery Charger, in 25 and 40-amp models, is designed to charge secondary batteries to 100% state of charge whilst on the move. The range incorporates several new features not seen in this market, including Solar and DC simultaneous charging inputs, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, battery isolation, can charge all common lead acid battery types and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries.
Both the Tow-Pro Elite Electric Trailer Brake and In-vehicle DC-DC Battery Charger range Controller were named a Global Media Award Winner in 2016 and 2017 respectively. In Australia, the Tow-Pro Elite has been the subject of several innovation awards in the Aftermarket and Overlanding industries, placing REDARC as a leader in the electric brake controller market.
Season 3, which is their South American series premiered on the 27th of October and sees REDARC’s Tow-Pro Elite segment featured in episode nine which aired on December 29th.
