REDARC Recognised with Three National Awards for Manufacturing and Sustainability Excellence

18th May 2026

REDARC Electronics is proud to have been recognised on the national stage with three major awards across two leading Australian industry events.

At the 2026 Australian Auto Aftermarket Industry Awards, held during the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo in Melbourne, REDARC was presented with the Excellence in Manufacturing Award and the Automotive Business Sustainability Award. The awards acknowledged the company’s ongoing commitment to advanced Australian manufacturing, innovation, sovereign capability and sustainable business practices.

REDARC has also won the prestigious Excellence in Sustainability Award at the 2026 Manufacturers’ Monthly Endeavour Awards. The awards gala took place on May 13 at The Westin Brisbane, with Aaron Przibilla accepting the award on behalf of REDARC.

The Endeavour Awards recognise excellence across Australia’s manufacturing sector, with the Excellence in Sustainability Award celebrating manufacturers that demonstrate outstanding leadership in reducing their environmental footprint and embedding sustainable practices into their operations.

Managing Director, Anthony Kittel, said the awards were a meaningful recognition of REDARC’s long-term investment in its people, capability and future growth.

“These awards reflect the direction REDARC continues to take as a business. Manufacturing excellence and sustainability are central to our future, and to be recognised across both the automotive aftermarket and broader manufacturing industry is something our entire team can be incredibly proud of,” Anthony said.

The Excellence in Manufacturing Award reflects REDARC’s belief that manufacturing is a core strategic capability and a source of long-term competitive advantage. Over the past year, REDARC has continued to invest in automation, advanced production systems and digital tools that improve quality, traceability, safety and throughput across the business.

This commitment is further demonstrated through REDARC’s $50 million Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Hub, a major investment in sovereign capability, future jobs and the continued growth of high-value manufacturing in Australia.

REDARC’s manufacturing strength is built on its people. From apprentices through to higher education pathways, the business continues to invest in developing world-class talent, recognising that world-class manufacturing depends on world-class people.

Sustainability is built into the way REDARC operates, manufactures and designs products. Over the last four years, REDARC has achieved a 60 per cent reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, transitioned to 100 per cent renewable electricity and maintained a 98 per cent landfill diversion rate.

REDARC was recognised at the Endeavour Awards for its continuous improvements and eco-friendly modifications across its local manufacturing facilities, commitment to building highly reliable and long-lasting technology that supports a greener future, and strong investment in future talent while integrating sustainable goals into its core business strategy.

The business has also focused on practical improvements across packaging, energy efficiency, waste segregation and supply chain processes to ensure sustainability initiatives are measurable, scalable and embedded across the organisation.

“Sustainability is something we have worked hard to make part of everyday decision-making, from how we use energy and manage waste, through to how we design, manufacture and package our products. These awards recognise the many people across REDARC who have helped turn those commitments into real outcomes,” Anthony said.

REDARC’s success across these awards further reinforces its position as a leader in Australian manufacturing and a business committed to building a stronger, more sustainable future for the automotive aftermarket and wider manufacturing industries.
