We measure our progress against the environmental policy and by joining the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), making sure environmental progress and achieving net zero is at the core of the business as we lead the way into a more sustainable future.

REDUCING WASTE
We’re committed to diverting waste from landfills, In FY24 we achieved a 96% waste to landfill avoidance. As part of this program, we have over 15 dedicated recycling streams on site. Our employees are also committed to supporting this initiative by disposing everyday waste into the correct bins within our offices.
SOLAR ENERGY
We want to harness the sun’s power to utilise renewable energy. Our Lonsdale Headquarters features a 429kW solar system on its roof, paired with 370kWh of battery storage to reduce our reliance on electricity produced from fossil fuels. For FY24 37% of our total site’s electricity was produced by our onsite solar.
GREENER PACKAGING
With every product we launch, we move further away from using single use plastics in our packaging. REDARC joined APCO in 2020 and have continuously improved our annual performance assessment. Since then, we have improved our overall score from “Good Progress” to “Leading” and are working towards the goal of “beyond best practice”. Additionally, products such as our GoBlock has aluminium casing that is made out of 100% recycled materials as part of REDARC’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability.
SOURCING SUSTAINABLY
Our procurement policies ensure compliance with environmental standards & social standards. We consider the importance of durability, energy efficiency and end of life management in every part that is sourced for our products. All of our suppliers go through an extensive selection process to ensure that both parties share a commitment to a greener future.
SUPPORTING ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES
At REDARC, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond our products. Our team regularly participates in environmental cleanup days, working hands-on to restore and protect the natural landscapes we all cherish. These initiatives allow us to make a tangible impact, giving back to the environment and reinforcing our dedication to a cleaner, greener future. Additionally, REDARC supports local initiatives such as Outback Cleanups, Food Bank & K’Gari Beach clean ups to assist otherS in their journey to a more sustainable future.
