For over 45 years, REDARC has been researching, designing, developing, testing and manufacturing industry-leading automotive electronics in Lonsdale, South Australia. REDARC’s success story is one of resilience, vision, and continual reinvestment.

Founded in a humble shed with just eight employees, REDARC has grown to become one of South Australia’s largest advanced manufacturers, employing approximately 400 skilled staff globally and exporting to more than 35 countries.

A significant part of that journey has been our ongoing investment in R&D. Since 2002, REDARC Technologies, our dedicated research division, has reinvested around 15% of annual revenue into product development. This commitment fosters a culture of innovation that produces smarter, tougher, and more capable technologies for off-grid travel, towing, and fleet applications.
