2. CHOOSE A WIRING HARNESS
We have a range of vehicle specific options for several years of make & model.
If there is no harness available for a vehicle or a vehicle is not fitted with a factory tow package our Universal Pigtail (TPH-025) may be needed instead. This involves hardwiring the 4 connections into the vehicle-side wiring via crimping or soldering.
If a vehicle is already fitted with Tekonsha, CURT or Hopkins brand utilise one of our harness adaptors including the TowPro-Tekonsha adaptor, TowPro to Curt adaptor or TowPro to Hopkins adaptor to go from an existing harness to the REDARC Tow-Pro.
*The Tow-Pro Elite box includes a Universal Switch Insert TPSI-001 and Universal Harness TPH-025.
3. CHOOSE A SWITCH INSERT
We have a range of vehicle specific options for switch inserts for several makes/models of vehicle.
If one is not available, a Universal option (TPSI-001) is able to be used which can be mounted into a drilled hole to make the finish look factory too.
Alternatively if an existing switch blank/’knockout’ is available in the vehicle already, this can be drilled out as per the TowPro instruction manual to suit the remote head

WHAT TO DO IF MY VEHICLE IS NOT IN THIS LIST?
WIRING HARNESS
