SUPPLY CHAIN TRANSPARENCY
CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT AND AUSTRALIAN MODERN SLAVERY ACT DISCLOSURE.
REDARC Electronics (REDARC Corporation) is committed to conducting all business lawfully and with integrity. REDARC publishes Modern Slavery Reports in accordance with the reporting guidelines needed for the Australian Modern Slavery Act of 2018.
REDARC’s Procurement team operate under a Procurement Policy that promotes ethical and socially responsible sourcing. They have also been trained to identify and manage behaviours that may contribute to Modern Slavery risk within the Supply Chain. Suppliers are screened for Modern Slavery risk prior to onboarding and parts needed by REDARC are selected on multiple criteria.
Over the last 3 years REDARC has specifically targeted Geographies, Products and Industry Risks in our supply chain. Suppliers have been interviewed by our trained staff to ensure that Modern Slavery is not conducted in any supply chain to REDARC. Where possible, REDARC has visited the supplier to conduct face to face Modern Slavery audits. In some cases, our suppliers have been audited by groups such as EcoVadis. The audits are prearranged with the supplier.
We have policies in place to report wrongdoing and Modern Slavery, if it was witnessed and regularly train new staff that might work with suppliers so that as an enterprise, we can be vigilant.
We comply with the Australian Modern Slavery Act that came to force in December 2018 with a publicly available statement being published annually.
