REDARC Hummingbird's high precision 2 Axis Tilt sensor is a 0.1 degree sensor that utilised MODBUS over RS485. It is predominantly designed to be used with the HMDS8100 inclinometer but can be used as a sensor in any RS485 capable system.
POWERFUL PERFORMANCE
REDARC Hummingbird tilt-switches measure pitch and roll angles with high accuracy by measuring the earth's gravitational field with a three axis accelerometer.
When used in combination with the Inclinometer (Slope Meter), accuracy of one degree and customisable frequency response are achievable.
RUGGED HARDWARE
Designed for harsh industrial environments, the tilt sensors are supplied in a rugged aluminium enclosure that is splash-proof. Provision for screw mounting when required is provided.
Power to the unit and outputs are provided through colour coded wires that are terminated with a 4-pin Deutsch DT style connector. The tilt sensor is shipped with 7m of cable and is ready to be plugged directly into the HMDS8100 inclinometer.

REDARC offers customers free freight within Australia on orders over $100 products purchased via the REDARC website, unless a bulky or dangerous goods charge is deemed necessary. Orders are dispatched within 2-7 business days and shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days, depending on factors including your location within Australia.
For orders under $100, freight will be calculated at time of checkout.
For international orders, freight will be calculated at time of checkout. Orders will be shipped from our factory in Lonsdale with delivery timeframes dependant on location.
Where orders are shipped to a delivery address outside Australia, you are responsible for the compliance terms as written in our Website Terms of Use.
