UNDERGRADUATE PLACEMENTS & INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE

REDARC offer a range of Student Placement and Industrial Experience (Internship) opportunities. The programs provide aspiring engineering students with hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Students conmmencing this program must have completed a minimum of three (3) years of their bachelor degree and must be eligible to work in Australia. 

Students studying in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

  • Computer Systems Engineering
  • Electrical & Mechatronic Engineering
  • Electronics & Micro Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering

The mid-year program runs for 20 weeks and requires successful students to be available to work Monday to Friday while the summer program run for 12 weeks. 

Student Placement and Industrial Experience Programs at REDARC is paid work. Our mid-term program is open in March - April each year. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews in May with successful applicants starting in July. The summer program is open in August - September each year with successful applicants commencing in November. The number of student placement positions available does change year to year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Fresh graduates must be awarded with a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Firmware or similar), or you will be graduated in the same disciplines when the program commences. 

ROTATIONAL STRUCTURE

Graduates complete structured rotations across four core disciplines, offering a comprehensive foundation in engineering and business operations:

  • Foundation & Chosen Engineering Discipline – Electronics, Mechanical & Firmware or similar. 
  • Elective Inclusive of Project Management
  • Test & Compliance
  • Manufacturing Engineering
PROGRAM TIMELINE
  • Applications open in September per each year.
  • Interviewing process begins in November in line with the REDARC Recruitment Process
  • Program commences in January.

The number of graduate positions available change year to year, but we make every effort to maximise yearly intake for any keen engineer who can bring with them cutting-edge engineering excellence. The Engineering Graduate Program Intake for Year 2026 was closed. This program will open this September for the Y2027 intake.
