Tow-Pro Wiring Kits
REDARC offer a range of Tow-Pro wiring kits that are directly compatible with 16 popular 4WD vehicles. The wiring kits provide 'Plug and Play' style connectivity. Each vehicle specific wiring kit will ensure installation will now become quicker and more convenient.
The introduction of REDARC’s Tow-Pro V3 and Tow-Pro Elite 12V included an upgrade to the data cable that connects the Remote Head to the Main Unit. learn more
REDARC provide universal wiring kit options for the Tow Pro Elite. The difference between the Universal Wiring Kit (TPWKIT-013) and the Universal Extended Wiring Kit (TPWKIT-014) is the Universal Extended Wiring Kit (014) kit comes with a longer power harness for the increased cable run to the start battery.
Please see picture below to aid in your decision. Note that if you are unsure, get the TPWKIT-014 kit as this will give you more cable to work with in your installation.
The popular REDARC TPWKIT’s will for a period have both the V2 CAT5 cable and new V3 cable included.

For TPWKIT’s already in the field that require a V3 cable, contact REDARC directly to organise delivery.
REDARC have a range of Tow-Pro Elite remote head wiring cables in lengths from 1m - 6m to increase the flexibility of installation, while a range of US vehicle specific wiring harnesses provide the ability to connect the Tow-Pro Elite directly into the factory towing package connector behind a vehicle dash.
- V&V2 utilised a CAT5 cable with twin RJ45 connectors
- Tow-Pro Elite V3 utilises automotive grade 8 pin connectors
- The Tow-Pro Elite 12V is compatible with all Tow-Pro Switch Inserts except TPSI-008, TPSI-010, TPSI-011 and TPSI-012, and also compatible with all Tow-Pro wiring kits
- Tow Pro-Elite 12V is not compatible with the Ford Everest and Ranger.
