Where should I place my solar blanket for camping?
For optimum performance, your solar blanket should be pointed at the sun. On the bonnet of your 4WD or roof of the caravan usually works well. It’s important though to move the blanket during the day to ensure the cells are always facing the sun.
What size solar blanket do I need to run a fridge?
Most people will need 100 to 200 watts of solar power to run a 12V mini fridge. REDARC solar blankets come in 112W, 160W, 240W and 300W capacities.
Are solar blankets compatible with lithium batteries?
Yes, REDARC solar blankets are compatible with our lithium batteries.
