REDARC is delighted to announce that it has become a Supplier Member of the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), the leading trade voice representing the $50 billion USA RV industry. RVIA represents 400 RV manufacturers and component suppliers producing approximately 98 percent of all RVs manufactured in North America and approximately 60 percent of RVs produced worldwide.
The association unifies the RV industry’s initiatives on safety and professionalism, seeks to grow and expand the RV market, and works with federal and state lawmakers and regulators to pursue a favorable business environment for its members, and to cultivate a positive RV experience for all consumers.
RVIA is the leading source of research, data, and analysis about the RV industry, the RV market, and RV users, and provides free information to consumers, media, investors, and other interested parties about RV travel and camping.
They also maintain an inspection program that audits the compliance of RV manufacturers to the plumbing, heating, fire and life safety, and electrical systems codes of the ANSI/NFPA 1192 standard for RVs. Another valuable service the association provides is ongoing Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) education program for its members, as well as training clinics for RV service technicians.
“By joining the RV Industry Association, REDARC has become part of the RVIA collective endeavours to promote the health, safety, growth and expansion of the RV industry. REDARC’s annual membership investment helps directly fund the signature programs and initiatives to accomplish this vital goal,” explained Craig Herriot, REDARC Export Manager.
